Michael Campanile | Editor in Chief & Photojournalist
Michael is an Asbury Park-based photographer, graphic designer and the owner of Campanile Creative. He has been shooting shows since he moved to our little city by the sea, and is a former online music magazine editor. The past few years have seen him covering bands from his college mix tapes while also working the Sea.Hear.Now, North to Shore, and Light of Day festivals. He treats every show like it's a special event, whether its a local indie band or some guy named Bruce.
Michael is known for his artistic style that tugs at your nostalgia. While in the photo pit, he tries to capture moments and emotions that make you feel like you were right there in the crowd. Two of his photos were published in the book Photofantasm: Soundgarden, and his work has been used by bands such as Bad Religion, The Bouncing Souls, +Live+, Blind Melon and Almost Queen. He can be found selling his art at a number of artisan markets throughout his beloved Garden State.
